REPORT

We attempted 13 shots for only 2 for Yokohama FC. We outrageously dominated the first half to no avail allowing only 1 shot to the opposition which flew miles over the bar. Had we led by 3-0 at half time, no one would have complained.

We finally goat a goal by Santana, a very scrappy one, in the 58th minute, and then we stopped playing, believing our defense would be good enough to see the day, Well, it was not to be. 10 minutes later Yokohama FC got a free kick to allow them their second and last shot at goal for the day. It just went in with no opposition or reaction at all to the unbelieving glee of our opponents of the day, who then proceeded to show what defending a point meant to them!

Well, we have the players and enough potential, but the mental side is still left to be built along with the finishing of good enough moves to win any day.

Next Sunday, we will welcome a very difficult opponent in the name of Nagoya Granpus. I’m afraid his might prove the turning point of the season, be it good or bad.

About time the fans rejoice at home!
