REPORT

Another game to forget in spite of a great crowd in spite of the pandemics.

Kawasaki Frontale are still unbeaten this season and I do not see who could do so in the present situation.

Shimizu S-Pulse played courageously enough, but what with too many injuries, they are not fielding their best team these days. The long Olympics Games break should prove beneficial.

Moreover, new players, and very probably new ideas and challenges are coming. The present players are too jaded and need to be spurred on by new competition for starting spots which will surely happen as quite a few players will also come back from injury.

The defense, although better than last year, still needs to be made more resilient and aggressive.  There is not much needed actually, but at this level it is all about small details and enthusiasm.

Next game is another difficult challenge against Yokohama F Marinos, a team in top form in spite of losing their head coach to Celtic in Scotland, on an unusual Monday venue. Let us hopet hings will start changing for the better at long last!
