REPORT

Another cold shower, both real and figurative!

Why cannot we win two consecutive games?

Why do we sink into oblivion after a great performance?

The fact teams had to wait until the last moment to know they would play or not because of another typhoon did not help either, what with the pitifully small crowd of supporters. I suppose that once again, it will be another game to forget as it is too painful to describe and explain.

This year, in spite of changing the whole team and the head coach, results are simply way under par and every match is becoming a study in fear, except maybe when we play away when the pressure is less. The data are damning. We had 7 shots on target and no goal. Vissel had only 3 shots and scored two goals. But we conceded 18 free kicks to their mere 8! As for corner kicks only 3 each, meaning not much overwhelming domination.

The last 7 games of the season will be a rough ride of our own making! We had the potential to compete in the top of the league, but we miserably failed. We still have the potential to save the season and the next match on Saturday In Fukuoka will be heavy with consequences, good or bad!

If we do not show the hunger and durable resilience of true professionals, we are in for toil and shame. But if we can, at last, please our ever-suffering supporters we have a base to build on!
