REPORT

This was the last game of an era and I am afraid we will have to forget it.

It just summed up all the weaknesses of a team with such a great potential but who never found real motivation.

Soft goals were conceded early in the game and the consolation goal which came with still a good 25 minutes left did little to assuage the S-Pulse fans among a surprisingly small Sunday crowd in Kashiwa.

We will simply have to rebuild with a changed staff which should be announced soon.

The season is still early to be discouraged and everyone will have to work and find inspiration to end this fourth consecutive season to witness major changes.

Next game will a second round of the Emperor Cup to be played in midweek at home against Shunan University (Yamaguchi Prefecture).

A good time for all to reassess themselves and young players to get a chance to impress!
