REPORT

A good practice match.

Unlike last year there was no giant killing in any game during this second round of the Emperor Cup and no university came close to creating an upset.

S-Pulse went relentlessly on the attack all day as many players had to prove themselves again.

Shunan University (Yamaguchi Prefecture) were allowed only 2 attempts at goal while S-Pulse converted half their chances into goals, notably with Disaro’ hat-trick.

It is difficult to put a real value on such a game, but S-Pulse did their job probably better than expected considering recent vents.

They will now benefit from a two-week rest from league games which should prove beneficial considering new management about to take over.

It should also prove refreshing to our enduring fans against Fuoka at home!
