REPORT
Soccer/Football is a cruel game!

Urawa Red Diamonds does not care about producing pleasant football and the first half was more occupied with back passes than anything else making it all boring and a soporific first half no one will remember.

The second half started in the same fashion and S-Pulse could not make much of a game played far away from goal. And finally in the 72nd minute all the boredom paid up for Urawa when they scored a soft goal on a corner kick when the S-Pulse defense was caught sleeping.

S-Pulse fought back harder against the odds of an opponent all packed in their own half.

That is when in the last of additional time lady fate mocked Shimizu to the extreme. Taki had found at last the occasion to have a solid shot at goal from inside the box but the ball which had beaten everybody struck the bar in full with the ball rebounding a long way downfield where no S-Pulse player was left bound on desperate attack that they were. There are times when one can only accept luck and fate!

Let's hope that the players will not have lost their hearts and make us proud on Friday against another difficult opponent in Kashima!
