REPORT
A disappointing and frustrating draw after so many promises the week before!

The first half was clumsy and slow at worst and just bland at best. Very, very, few occasions and a near fluke goal in our favor just before half time. By then no team deserved to lead at the score, one being too conservative and defensive, the other clumsy.

The second half threatened the same until the 59th minute when S-Pulse conceded the usual soft goal after a melee more reminiscent of rugby than soccer. The very needed substitutions seemed to have awakened S-Pulse at last and their domination was quickly converted in the 64th minute with a scrappy goal by Carlinhos assisted by Elsinho.

Unfortunately, after this short excitement it was back to the same boring game with only a couple of occasions. The fans were disappointed indeed and went home early for many of them.

S-Pulse will have to regroup next Saturday if they wish to please their deserving fans against a nemesis in the shape of Kawasaki Frontale which have already been crowned 2020 J1 League Champions!
