REPORT

A lost opportunity (most aptly said, lost opportunities)!

After once again being caught cold by a corner kick allowing a Hiroshima back to score a goal that would put S-Pulse on the chase for the whole game, the orange jerseys worked hard in vain for the whole first half with Kaneko (8th minute), Shirasaki (19th minute) being denied by a splendid Hiroshima keeper who was the real hero of his team.

The second half saw S-Pulse desperately missing other opportunities especially with Tiago Alves hitting the bar in 52nd minute. Subsitute Chong Tese finally equalized 6 minutes before real time.

But the recurring lost time nightmare once again struck all attacking S-Pulse with a pass being cut in the 1st minute of lost time to lead to another easy counter goal. A last counter attack in 6th minute saw Hiroshima nail the coffin for good leaving dejected S-Pulse players lying on the turf.

S-Pulse players have plenty of courage and efforts to sell but they need a new way of thinking if they want to stay in the J1 League!

Let’s hope they will give us hope during their game away at fellow strugglers, Ohmiya!
