REPORT

Unlucky!

The first time of the season I can invoke such an excuse!

S-Pulse played their hearts out and this time the fans did not boo. Pity the crowd was still a bit small for a Saturday afternoon. The club needs its fans!

S-Pulse dominated most of the first half and Kaneko came desperately so close when he managed to shoot point blank through a melee only to see the ball rebound on the left post.

The second half saw first a more balanced game until a blunder by the defense saw somehow FC Tokyo succeed with the silliest goal imaginable with the ball sickly trickling into the net to the obvious FC Tokyo players and fans jubilation in a lengthy celebration.

S-Pulse fought back and relentlessly assaulted their opponents’ goal and Tese came agonizingly close twice to equalization. But it was not to be and S-Pulse had to take it on the chin again with the third successive loss by a single goal.hey have the team to vastly better and only a spark is needed to see their strikers succeed.

But they need more support from their fans!

Next game sees them travelling to Nagoya to face a team in a similar situation. A victory would be so sweet!
