REPORT
Great result but in vain,… but contrary to many comments heard and read elsewhere this should be considered as a very important link game for the rest of the season for so many players competing for the same position and bound to be called during the season due to inevitable injuries and fatigue!

The first half saw a bit too many errors in defense with some waste, but the second witnessed a domination by S-Pulse marked by no less than 3 goals. In the 48th minute Tese pounced on a loose ball and dribbled through the Consadole defense before being brought down for a penalty he himself converted. In the 57th minute Duke retrieved a loose ball and saw his cross headed in by Hasegawa. Duke again put his own seal on the game with his first goal of the year.

S-Pulse players must all be complimented for putting up a serious game in an almost empty stadium far away from their home. It will serve as encouragement for the very difficult trip to Kawasaki on Sunday for the last J1 League game before the long World Cup holiday!
