REPORT
Exhaustion!

The World Cup break will be more than welcome!

After two great convincing winning games, Shimizu S-Pulse just missed out completely in that game away against last year champions. The more galling for it than all three goals could and should have been averted.

In the 19th minute goalkeeper Rokutan was caught sleeping near his right post leaving a gaping hole where the middle range free kick by Kawasaki’s Nakamura found its way above the defending wall defending nothing.

In the 33rd minute five S-Pulse defenders looked at each other while Frontale stole a lost ball and somehow found their way in.

Finally in the 57th minute Kawai could not secure a week pass by goal keeper Rokutan and let a sole rampaging Frontale forward take a ridiculous goal in glee!

Tatsuta and Crislan did their best to counter after that still showing the team had spirit but it was one of these days we will have to forget!

Next action will see a second round game of the Emperor’s Cup to be played at home against FC Imabari. Let’s hope the story will be different this time!
