REPORT
We have a “small problem”…

It was not in the offense as S-Pulse created almost as many opportunities as their opponents, and the whole team did not actually play a bad game at all. It is just that the defense being aligned along back to a 4-4-2 system after the 3-5-2 failure the previous game did not click.

It was just one of those days…Elsinho was playing at last but Wanderson had to be overlooked. The defense played their part with four shots at goal but probably committed themselves forward too much.

Head Coach Jônsson refused to bemoan his bad luck and stayed positive at the post match interview pointing out that his players nonetheless played good football.

This is a time when one have to forget past failures. The season is only started and many another big name is having difficulties this year. One has to stay positive and keep fighting!

Shimizu S-Pulse will surely show their true worth in the first Derby Game against Jubilo Iwata next Wednesday at home for the 2nd game of the Levain Cup Group D Stage. A game they cannot afford to lose if they want to participate to the play-offs!
