REPORT
Never give up!
One usually should not complain about back luck, but for once Shimizu S-Pulse had reasons to think so. This said, they never give up and could even have hoped for an even better result.

The first half saw very few chances from either side except when Nishibe had to produce a great save in the 43rd minute.

The second half witnessed two sides who took on a more aggressive attitude.
In the 63rd minute Kitagawa was unlucky to see his great volley from point blank fly directly to the opposite goal keeper. In the following minute Musaka did well to hit the ball first and thought he had saved the situation but the diving opposite forward still won a penalty kick.

Nevertheless S-Pulse went on the attack and in the 76th minute Douglas was tripped by the opposite goal keeper and consequently converted his own penalty kick.S-Pulse still had to hang on with all their will and somehow cleared a horrible mix-up inside their box in the 85th minute! In the end it was a deserved draw earned through true grit and determination.

S-Pulse is steadily growing into a new outfit that will earn respect and fear in the very near future whatever the opposition. And the opposition in the next game at home on the 15th of June could not be tougher as S-Pulse has not beaten Yokohama F. Marinos at home for 12 games!

But their fans are there to help them until the very end!
