REPORT
At least, S-Pulse did not join the list of giant killings which happened elsewhere!
The kind of game that can easily end in a trap with a team fielding many reserves against a full team with nothing to lose.

S-Pulse had most of the possession but few ideas. They were just too easy to read by a packed opposite defense. They had only two shots on target, while Nagano also had two, the first brilliantly saved by Takagiwa and their second one hitting the right top corner of the goal.

The second half was a carbon copy in spite of the introduction of top players. Takagiwa once again had to save his team from embarrassment before S-Pulse finally broke the deadlock in additional time with Tastuta finding Mizutani on the left flank sending a low cross first hit by Tese and finally slotted in by Kawai at the rebound. The fans’ celebrations were somewhat muted as they understood they had just avoided disaster.

Let’s hope it will become a good lesson next Saturday against difficult foe in the name of Vissel Kobe for the 18th Day of the J1 League season!
