So close and yet so far! Lady luck will have to be left aside… It must said she had been kind to S-Pulse lately but Gamba has turned into a nemesis whatever our efforts.
S-Pulse did have more chances to take the lead through Douglas, Kitagawa, Renato and Kaneko for most of the game except may be for the first 15 minutes. And when an evidently tired team had to defend a draw after so many chances left away it was cruel when in the 88Th minute they conceded a goal that should never have been.
The positive side is that the team needs very little to become stronger and stronger but it will have to beat bottom teams before resting on their laurels when beating supposedly better teams.
And a very good one is coming this Saturday, namely Tokyo FC. S-Pulse were unlucky to lose their game in Tokyo. Let’s hope that the fans will get the satisfaction of a sweet revenge!
