REPORT
We seem to lose many a game in the first half these days and that very point will have to be addressed in priority otherwise we will spend a season chasing after results.

We started well enough when in the 6th minute Carlinhos missed by inches a volley from a corner kick a few meters from goal. After that S-Pulse pressed on in vain and took more and more risks.

As a consequence, two soft goals were conceded in quick succession in the 36th and 37th minutes, the first with the whole defense allowing a single opposite striker to shoot at goal with almost no opposition, and the second one on a quick counter which left the defense completely flat-footed.

S-Pulse spent the second half valiantly attacking and exposing themselves to counters the whole time. Although two goals were refused for off side to Kashiwa, S-Pulse created enough chances to equalize but had to satisfy with a lone goal well taken in the dying minutes by Carlinhos who headed a fine free kick by substitute Nishizawa.

It left S-Pulse with the gnawing certitude that a win had been stolen from them too cleverly. A lot work left to do maybe, but the whole team has not lost its enthusiasm in spite of the many reverses. Better times will eventually come. Until then they will have to bite the bit.

The next game takes them to Hiroshima, a strong team against they will have nothing to lose. You can expect another entertaining game!
