REPORT

Not the best start for a new season, but in spite the adverse result plenty of positive signs and hope for this no-relegation tournament allowing a new format season starting later in the year.

You cannot expect things to be perfect from the beginning, what with new members, a whole new staff personnel and very little time to prepare the season.

Even looking for as much as possible success after a disappointing season last year which barely saw us maintained in the J League top division, we will have plenty of time to rebuild our team. We have the talent both in players and staff

Starting the season away at a venue which has proved difficult over the years did not help either.

The first half was particularly difficult although we kept our slate clean. We simply did not manage a single shot on target.

We actually could have led in the seconds of the first half but Kitagawa’s goal was disallowed for offside.

Things improved during the second half, although we conceded the sole game of the day after a disallowed goal was awarded after VAR consultation.

During the second half we basically shared the same possession and more shots on target

Coach Yoshida confirmed that the first half did not go accordingly to plans although the defense held well. The second half witnessed more progress although he calmly admitted more work was needed although although he is confident enough fro things to come.

Next game will be played at home at home against Kyoto, against whom we had mixed results last year.

The fans cannot wait to see their new team and staff in action!
