REPORT

Another frustrating draw, and we have only ourselves to blame although we managed for the first time this season to win an extra point from the penalties shootout.

We are on five-game unbeaten run but we have left 7 points on the way, meaning the defense is performing but the midfield although adequate did not combine well enough with the attack.

A look at the match data paints a picture we definitely have to improve on.

We overwhelming dominated the possession (74% to 26%), the numbers of passes (434 to 252) and even pass accuracy (80% to 70%)

But the fact us that our opponents did far better than expected with the little they have winning as many corner kicks with almost the same number of shots at goal and shots on target.

The problem obviously was not about strategy but about efficiency.

We simply have to be more realistic and far sharper on occasions and opportunities.

After all you need only one shot at goal to win a game and the ruthlessness is simply missing.

Truth be told we are still in the process of building a new team with a new management and it will take time even with the great potential we have..

The next game on Wednesday sees an away game at Avispa Fukuoka, never an easy game. Let us hope we will witness a better performance and result for our fans!
