REPORT
Craft and team spirit!

A game cleverly conducted by S-Pulse. They practically never let their vaunted opponents’ attack move freely and forced them into desperate long range shots, sometimes dangerous but never on target. The only time their shots were on target they were too weak and straightforward to worry Rokutan.

On the other hand S-Pulse counters were always a menace, and although 3 of their shots were on target they all found the back of the net.

In the 11th minute Kaneko’s corner kick was feebly cleared for Matsubara to control it easily befor passing it to Seok Ho who turned around and sent a beauty from just outside the right corner of the box curling around a diving goal keeper.

In the 28th minute another counter fund Duke run past Cerezo’ right defense and send a short center which could not be cleared properly and Kitagawa pounced on it from close range.

In the 67th minute Kaneko found himself in the middle of the Cerezo’s defense unwillingly blocking one of his team mates’ long range attempt but somehow kept control of the ball before running around Cerezo’s left defense and curling a looping center that Crislan headed in with glee and being greeted by the whole bench in a great team spirit!

In post-match interview Team Manager Jan Jőnsson had trouble to keep a straight face highly satisfied with his players’ performance. The World Cup break had been difficult and a few trials had been made but the whole team took control of the game in a crafty and forceful way that surprised their supposedly stronger opponents. Hwang had been encouraged for a while to contribute to the attack and this time it paid handsomely. The defense as usual was selfless and dedicated with the whole participating and when on the offense a slowly but steadily maturing team should great intelligence.

They will need on Sunday against the other team form Osaka!
