REPORT
S-Pulse is still waiting for its first win of the season after a game they could and should have won. They gave away only 3 chances to their opponents who scored two easy goals while they had 4 clear-cut chances but could only convert one.

In the 9th minute Goto misses a golden chance after a splendid cross by Okazaki catching the Gamba defense completely open. In the 39th minute S-Pulse were too slow to parry on attack on their right flank and conceded a soft goal.

In the 52nd minute a splendid heading by Hwang following a corner from the right was stopped by nobody else than his own team mate Goto! In the 59th minute S-Pulse did well to cut Gamba defender’s dribble but Carlinhos nor Kaneko could finish another golden chance. In the 84th minute Nakamura’s perfect cross from the left found Tatsuta jumping over everyone for a great headed goal.

Unfortunately, in the 90th minute a flat-footed conceded another soft goal to make a straight fourth loss for S-Pulse.

On the positive side S-Pulse is starting to click, even with many players missing through suspension or injuries, meaning they do have a vey deep squad. Their string of defeats does not justice to the hard work and dedication but it is only a question of time before the find their way to success.

Next Saturday they travel to a place they like, namely Kobe. It could well be the start of better things!
