REPORT
It seems that S-Pulse is being caught within a most negative pattern. Conceding a goal in the first half. Chasing the score. Concedes late goals in quick succession and somehow manages a consolation goal in the very last minutes.

In the 30th minute a flat-footed defense conceded a soft goal from long range that was given all the time to be aimed and shot. S-Pulse had their best chance 2 minutes later but Dutra’s shot went wide after a nice ross from Okui. In the 43rd minute Dutra’s head from a right-hand side corner agonizingly hit the left post.

They came close again twice before conceding three soft goals with a totally disarrayed defense too busy attacking and running back. In the 71st minute a long kick by the opposite goalkeeper found a lone Hiroshima forward who lobbed Okubo surrounded by 4 defenders. In the 81st and 88th minute the defenders were left arguing with each other for responsibilities not taken. Nevertheless, S-Pulse did manage to save their pride with a fine free kick by Nakamura finding the head of Carlinhos!

On Saturday S-Pulse another nemesis, namely Kashima Antlers who easily won they visited Shizuoka the last three years. About time to change the course of the season!
