Talk of snuffed out hopes! It is bitterly disappointed to fall back so quickly into mediocrity.

It started badly enough with a goal conceded in the 8th minute against a team who know how to defend tight results. For all their attacking, incidentally lower than their opponents of the day, S-Pulse were just sterile and never looked like finishing good enough moves with an alarming regularity.

Now they need a miracle, that is, they have to win the return match in Kashima and score a minimum of wo goals in the process.

How can they do it? Obviously by choosing their best team, without keeper Gonda on National service, and throw all cautions to the wind. If they do so, it promises for a long talk. If not, … At least try your best for the fans, if not for the future!
