REPORT

Once again we let a game away from us that we could and should have won with a little more application and will, especially in defense when we conceded soft goal after soft goal.

In the 11t minute Ronaldo was unlucky not to score twice when he ran past Fukuoka’s left flank before shooting low only to see his attempt repulsed by the opposite goalkeeper’s extended leg before the same bounced back to him but his second shot was again palmed away.

In the 29th minute this time S-Pulse was somewhat lucky when Yamahara had sweetly ran past Fukuoka’s right flank before sending a cross that everyone managed to miss, S-Pulse forwards, Fukuoka defenders and goalkeeper before trickling indie the far post.

But in the 36th minute we conceded a free kick in front of the box that was poorly defended by our wall, conceding a goal against the run of play.

Bad came to worse when in the 42nd minute our defense completely missed clearing a corner kick to make a rea gift to our opponents.

In the 49th minute we once again conceded a soft goal with lethargic defense.

We did well enough to earn a penalty converted by Santana in the 60th minute,

That left us 30 minutes to equalize or do even better but once again luck was not with us in spite of constant attack.

The game against Yamaha Jubilo having been postponed to the 22nd of October due to a horrible typhoon our next game is away at Kawasaki Against a team we have done poorly for a very long time. A good result there would an unhoped-for bonus in our fight to stay in the J1 League.
