REPORT

Like the previous game, this match was used as practice against a far better side from J1 League for many young players.

The previous encounter which saw S-Pulse beat Kawasaki at home featured a good S-Pulse B side against a diminished Kawasaki B side. This time a S-Pulse C side struggled against a strong Kawasaki B side. Moreover S-Pulse had brought only 5 substitutes instead of the allowed 7.

What with a crowded J2 League schedule as priority, the new management are using those Ybc Levain games as practice even if they end up in one-sided games.

Statistics offer no excuse: 23 shots against 3 and 10 corner kicks against 3.

The matters were made worse as S-Pulse an own goal from the 16th minute and it was basically a one-way road in front a large crowd.

A long day. Let us hope it will not discourage young players or regular players coming out of a long injury like Renato.

At least, starting members will be rested for our next J2 League game which will take place in Omiya on Saturday!
