REPORT

Another frustrating draw!

In spite of dominating possession, having more attempts at goal and five times as many shots on target, once again we only managed a draw against a low-ranked team bent on defense.

In the 4th minute we wasted a great opportunity by missing three times to convert an excellent cross into the middle of the box.

In the 18th minute Carlinhos could have better finished a nice move around the defense shooting too weakly from the edge of the box.

In the 31st minute Kololli feinted to pass a corner kick to Shirasaki who sent a looping cross over the defense to be headed in by Yoshinori Suzuki.

Tochigi tried to attack but their shooting was too poor.

In the 39th minute Kolloli barely missed the goal from the acutest of angles.

In the 52nd minute S-Pulse should have done better finding themselves 4 to 4 after a fast contact but an unmarked Nakayama saw his shot palmed away over the bar.

Tochigi the struck on their only shot on target in the 67th minute following poor defense from our center backs who allowed a free diving header that Gonda could do little to prevent.

S-Pulse went on the attack for the rest of the game but to no avail.

A really insipid game at times that S-Pulse threw carelessly away!

A good note though with the returns of Hara and Yuito Suzuki on loan broad!

Now, they will have to win the next game at home next Saturday at all costs against Okayama to stay within striking distance of the top of the table!
