REPORT

The game in Ninjinia Stadium, S-pulse struggled against Hehime’s play style soon after the start of the game. On 10 minutes, Ehime’s MF8 Kojima opened the scoring a powerful header in Mihara’s cross from left side. Shimizu conceded a goal.

On 24 minutes, Shimizu tried to attempt counter attack. Shota Kaneko dribbled into the penalty area and he passed the ball into the path of Shirasaki. S-pulse’s No39MF has been scoring in 3 consecutive games passed the ball in front of the goal mouth. Finally this counter attack caused Ehime’s own goal. Shimizu evened the score then 1st half ended.

The match changed on 66 minutes, Kitagawa came on as a substitute, and he dribbled past Ehime’s DF then make a cross. GK Kodama managed to touch the ball but Tese controlled a loose ball from GK and scored. Shimizu turned the game around.

We had a victory in our grasp before 90 minutes. However 2 minutes from the end, Shimizu gave Ehime a corner kick three times. The third times, finally S-pulse concede an equalizer. That was the moment S-pulse lost 2 points. Chong Tese was mortified “We have got one points but this mean is the same as we lost this game”

Eventhough Shimizu could not win this game but took 5th place. This game was not best result but need to think about enough as unbeaten in nine. Shimizu return to IAI Stadium Nihondaira on Wednesday July 20th for a midweek game under the floodlights, so why not get along?

Forza S-Pulse!
