REPORT

Shinji Kobayashi said “We became nervous and confused because of Nagasaki’s long-ball tactics and high intensity press defense in the 1^st half” S-pulse could not control the game and they showed many mistake when they pass the ball. Therefore there was no shoot in the 1^st half which was the first thing of the season. On the other hand, Shimizu did not allow Nagasaki any goals because GK Uekusa who just joined two weeks ago did considerable for the team. On 41th minute, When Nagasaki had corner kick three times Uekusa defended its goal very well. He said “I know Nagasaki has many variations for the corner kick so I was ready for that”

In the second half Shimizu showed difference to use the space beside the central midfielder. On 64th minute, MF39 connected well with Edamura’s cross from that space and Shirasaki’s header bounced back off the GK, but finally Kitagawa scored with this loose ball. Shimizu’s No23 striker has scored in 2 successive games. Edamura said “I tried to find and use that space from the begeing of the game and finally I made it.”  S-pulse made their victory sure by adding another goal by Chong Tese from corner kick in 79^th minute. Chong Tese said “ It was very hard situation because we were devastated by lost against Sapporo, but we managed to get a victory”

Just after three days Renofa Yamaguchi FC are the visitors. Why not get along to cheer the boys in orange on as they aim to continue their consecutive victories.
