REPORT
There was a strong wind in Pikara Stadium and the pitch was rough. It used to be enough conditions to influence the result of this game but, Shimizu did not care any poor conditions now.
The beginning of this game, Shimizu struggled, was not able to get in a vital area as Sanuki played so defensive. There were many players behind the ball so that Shimizu’s players had to had Sanuki’s high press.
However 10 minutes before half-time, and after 10 minutes from second-half, MF22 Edamura and FW9 Tese succeeded to find the target. Shimizu scored the best period. It seems like S-pulse makes another goal in a minute but Sanuki recovered from this bad situation.
In the 87th minute Shimizu conceded a goal, Sanuki broke down S-pulse’s defence finally. After that Sanuki tried to find the equaliser but the final whistle was blown before they made. Last game vs Kyoto, S-pulse conceded a goal just end of the game, it has to be an important subject for remaining two games.
Seven consecutive victories is the first time in 17 years. In the meantime, Sapporo who is the top of the J2 league lost last game, which mean is that S-pulse have only three points difference between the top of the table. Just two games remain, and all the time possibility is there, the goal must be to finish top. Okayama are welcomed to town on Saturday for another must-win game, so why not head on up to IAI Stadium Nihondaira and join in the fun?
Forza S-Pulse!
