REPORT
Difficult to talk about this game without being disappointed. S-Pulse played well enough during the first half before conceding a soft goal at the last minute. The second half was spent into futile offense leaving the side wide exposed to an opponent content to wait for the next counter.

On the positive side the return from injury by Veto Volpi was quite impressive. The new teenager just fresh from signing, Naruoka did also impress. For some more vaunted players, they might have to prove their worth all over again. This is a long season with a packed schedule. Their chance will surely come again. Let us hope they prove this game was only a bad memory!

Next game is a must win against a nightmare team called Sapporo Consadole at home. There will be history to erase then
