REPORT
The first clean sheet of the season! The third successive drawn away game, meaning that S-Pulse has not lost for five matches in a row after the first 5 losses of the season.

Actually, they could have well won the game, especially in the first half. They never gave up until the end preferring taking risks in acquiring more points than insure a draw. Head Coach Clomavski, for all the good play, especially by an ever-improving defense and the general hard work, was somewhat disappointed not to have brought back the 3 points of an away win.

On the positive side this first clean sheet will prove an enormous boost to the defense who will be even more ready to take risks in bringing their height to the attack knowing someone will automatically cover for them.

The team can run full speed during the whole game as they have literally developed a different team for each half, bringing in more attack in the seconf half with the likes of Nakamura, Suzuki and Kawamoto who would start for many a match in other J1 League clubs. At the same time this gives a chance to play regularly for young players even starting on the bench knowing they will be called later in the game for their impact.

The whole team is definitely on an ascending form, and no opponent will feel at ease against them any longer.

The next game will be actually televised live as this is the first “Ozzie Derby” because S-Pulse will welcome Yokohama F Marinos at home on Wednesday pitting two former colleagues against each other, both lovers of an all-out attacking game! It promises fireworks!
