REPORT
Another game to forget in spite of a great spirit shown until the very last seconds.
The three goals conceded were just made too easy.

In the 2nd minute, a soft interception left the S-Pulse’s defense watching their opponents flat-footed and giving too much space and time for a shot from the corner of the box.　S-Pulse had their chance on a corner just after that but the defense was too good.　In the 25th minute once again S-Pulse’s defense was too naïve and their offside trap was too easily beaten.

In the 74th minute S-Pulse was just too poor to defend a corner kick when an unmarked Grampus back had all the time to head into the right corner of the woodwork. The last 10 minutes commendably belonged to S-Pulse and their courage and tenacity were finally rewarded with a fine heading by Carlinhos. There is still a long road left to deal with.

Let us hope that Shimizu will find the energy and skill to obtain a positive result in Oita on Saturday!
