REPORT

Difficult to say if this draw earned away against a club whish finished second last year was frustrating or rewarding. It certainly was frustrating to see at least four good moves ended with poor wayward shooting. S-Pulse were always within a chance of scoring that winning goal.

On the rewarding side the defense is improving all the time although it needed luck to keep its slate clean with shots stopped twice the framework both times after the ball was needlessly given away by the defense. Two rare lapses which could have given the game away.

But two successive draws away from home will give a lot of needed confidence to the whole team which is presently dealing with quite a few injuries. Newcomer left back Mattheus should be operational soon but he will still have to wait a bit more.

Next Wednesday will see the third round of the Levain Cup played at home this time. A win would almost ensure a place to the playoffs! Let’s hope the fans will at last rejoice at home!
