We need a miracle!

In front of the second biggest home attendance of the season, Shimizu S-Pulse simply failed.

We started well enough in the 13th minute when Ronaldo’s middle shot hit the post.

In the 19th minute a good move ended with Yamahara shooting directly at the goal keeper.

In the 29th minute Gonda had to stretch himself to save a strong heading from a right cross that beat the whole defense.

In the first half extra time S-Pulse had two good chances but Ronaldo and Inui could not hit the target.

Still in extra time Kashima also wasted a good chance.

In the 50th m8nute Kashima could have scored when the S-Pulse just looked on.

And what was going to happen happened in the 56th minute when S-Pulse had no less than 4 chances to clear the same corner kick before conceding another soft goal.

And it became more or less one-sided. In the 80th minute another corner kick was poorly defended and only Gonda first and then the post saved S-Pulse.

NEIn extra time S-Pulse had a chance to equalize from a free kck but unlike Kashima S-Pulse forwards simply made a mess of it.

We could and should once again killed the game in the first half, but failed through very poor finishing and as usual we defended like high school boys.

We need a miracle next Saturday at Sapporo, another nemesis!
